Community Enrichment Funds

Our Funds

Downtown Ventura grows stronger when people invest in the places where community happens. The Downtown Ventura Partners Community Enrichment Fund gives residents, businesses, visitors, partners, and philanthropists a direct way to support Downtown’s public places and shared experiences.

Choose a place-based activation fund or select the General Fund to support shared needs and emerging opportunities throughout Downtown Ventura.

How your gift works

The Downtown Ventura Partners Community Enrichment Fund receives and manages donations. Donors may select one of four funds. Designated gifts are tracked for board-approved work consistent with the selected fund’s purpose. General Fund gifts may be used wherever the board determines they will best advance the CEF mission.

Gifts support a fund’s overall charitable purpose rather than an individual project unless a campaign expressly says otherwise. Projects remain subject to available resources, permits, feasibility, and partner agreements.

Fund stewardship

Reasonable direct and shared costs necessary to carry out the charitable work may be charged to the funds in accordance with CEF accounting practices. If a contemplated use becomes impracticable, the board may apply the gift to the closest feasible use consistent with the selected fund’s purpose and applicable law.

Our reporting commitment

We publish a short fund update quarterly, within 45 days after the end of each calendar quarter. When available, each update reports contributions received, funds committed, funds spent, available balance, approved or active work, and the date of the update.

Reporting status

Initial fund reporting is being prepared. Approved financial and project information will be published after the close of the first reporting period.
